Bob Appel is Second Vice President of National Design/Advanced Planning. Bob joined Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in January 1998, as a result of the Connecticut General Life Insurance Company acquisition. Prior to joining Connecticut General Life Insurance Company in 1986, Bob worked at the accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. (Stamford, CT.) as a Senior Tax Consultant and the Lexington Insurance Company, AIG (Boston, MA) where he was Assistant Manager of Financial Services. He was also in private practice of law and continues to be a consultant to other attorneys and law firms. Bob had been an instructor of continuing education for Connecticut real estate agents and brokers from 1984 - 2004. He is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations. Bob received his BS degree (Accounting and Finance) from Central Connecticut State University, JD degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, MBA (Finance) degree from the University of Connecticut, and LL.M. (Taxation) degree from Boston University School of Law. Bob is listed in numerous sections and editions of Who's Who (including Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World).
